Oktava MK-012 MSP6 Matched Stereo Pair Black

High quality and outstanding performance/price ratio.
Be live or a studio session, the result will never let you unsatisfied; being an audio electronic designer, I always include MK-012 in tests among other hi end units.
I strongly suggest to purchase some MSP6 kits and keep always with you; maybe not your first choice everytime, but when you will need "one more" microphone or an alternative, you will be very happy to have some of them in your arsenal!

If someone asked you to review a Steinway D Grand Piano (unless it's a special version) you would be puzzled and probably answer. It's legendary. What more is there to say. The same is true for these Microphones. In fact I have used the MK-012 since so many years and in so many versatile scenarios that it is literally impossible to explain all of it.
But rest assured that I would prefer an MK-012 any day over a 184 from another legendary company.

Great for recording Steinways
Great for Orchestra Recordings with their omni capsule.
I am looking forward to compare this pair with my other 4 since I was told that Oktava has now adopted some of the mods developed by outside engineers.
Having these Mics in your locker is as natural as having a Shure Microphone for a singer on stage.
