Description
The Oktava MK-101 is a large diaphragm condenser with interchangeable fig. of 8 capsule built upon the renowned MK-012 transformerless circuitry.
The microphone combines the vintage character of the popular MK-319 capsule with the clarity of the MK-012 transformerless circuit. That way, the MK-101 makes a great male or female vocal microphone where a minimum sibilance is needed, put a powerful midrange presence.
Great for recording: speech, vocals, snare drums, acoustic guitar, grand pianos, strings.
The MK-101 also makes an excellent overhead and drum room microphone.
The figure of eight polar pattern makes it perfect for use in a M/S stereo array together with the MK-012.
